Kim School of Tae Kwon Do

In 1966, Grandmaster Kim, then 6th Dan and having excelled in Tae Kwon Do in South Korea, was sent to America by the Kukkiwon to promote Tae Kwon Do. Driving tens of thousands of miles a year, he traveled from coast to coast demonstrating this remarkable martial art. In 1968, The Kim School of Tae Kwon Do was established in Charlotte, NC.
